Two luminous amethyst-colored glass drops bring graceful movement to this vintage sterling silver lariat.
The elongated-link chain is punctuated by four small faceted crystal stations. At each end, a pear-shaped faceted glass drop catches the light beneath a decorative openwork cap. The delicate silver links and violet glass create an elegant composition with Art Deco styling.
Worn by loosely knotting the chain ends, the necklace allows the drops to hang at different lengths. The wearable length varies with the knot’s placement. Unmarked; the chain has been acid tested as sterling silver. The maker and exact date are unknown.
Excellent vintage condition. Both glass drops are undamaged.
