A circa-1940s WWII-era sweetheart locket brooch with a patriotic eagle, mother-of-pearl front, and enameled bow.
An eagle-and-shield emblem rests on luminous mother of pearl, framed by an engraved gold-plated surround. Red, white, and blue cold enamel accents the emblem and bow.
Inside are two photographs of women, retained as found, with removable frames and clear covers. The photographs can be replaced. A snap bail allows the locket to detach from the bow brooch for wear on a chain.
