Flowing gold filled curves form an airy, symmetrical design above the beaded rectangular base of this Art Nouveau watch fob. A large scroll-engraved suspension ring echoes the ornament below, giving the piece a beautifully finished silhouette.
Made around 1900–1910, the fob retains hand-engraved BH initials in elaborate script on its underside. Its generous ring is soldered closed and offers an attractive way to suspend it from a necklace or pocket watch chain. The unmarked gold filled metal has been tested; the maker remains unknown.
