A handmade Native American peyote stitch barrette, likely Navajo, with an oval turquoise cabochon framed by vivid geometric beadwork. Concentric bands of red, orange, yellow, and deep blue surround the center, with smaller patterned medallions extending to either side. Turquoise-blue beads define the scalloped outline, finished with a black beaded edge.
Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. Carefully hand stitched and beaded, with a good-quality French clip.
The reverse is backed with soft deerskin, neatly finished around the shaped edges.
