Beautiful antique Victorian gold ring set with an oval Garnet color (glass) stone at the center and a single mine cut Diamond at the Cardinal points. It is not uncommon for solid gold rings of Victorian times to be set with genuine Diamonds and a faux colored stone.
Beautifully made the setting measures 12mm by 10mm. The setting has split shoulders, carved with milgrain accents. All stones are prong set.
Ring size is 6.75 US, can be sized.
Maker's mark can be found inside the shank. The symbol is composed of two crossed hammers. Hand engraved initials can also be seen although too faint to be legible. No quality mark, carefully tested, solid 10k gold.

So adorable! This tiny 10k gold ring dates from Victorian times. Made by
Budlong Docherty Armstrong and marked DBA sometime in the late 1800's. The company produced jewelry from 1840 to 1971.
Looks barely worn, the carved flowers are sharp but you will need magnification to see it well. I'd wear it as a slide on a chain necklace or bracelet.
Ring outside diameter is 7/16", it is smaller than a size 1.

Awesome antique Sterling Silver ring, a Peruzzi style interpretation of the Greek god Zeus. Likely to date from the Aesthetic Movement of the Victorian Era. This unusual ring's shank is carved all the way around. The shank's interior is smooth.
The ring setting, representing the roaring face of Zeus, measure almost 1" North South by 3/4" East West and rises a maximum of 1/2" above the hand.
Ring size is 9.5. Ring is not marked, carefully tested. Weighs approximately 11 grams, it is substantial.
