Edwardian, 1901 to 1920s

Edwardian Crown Setting Amethyst Gold Ring

Size Guide
This beautiful antique amethyst gold ring dates from the 1900's during the Edwardian Era. The oval amethyst is crown set and displays a deep lavender, almost orchid-like color.

The setting measures approximately 1/2" North-South by 7/16" East-West. The amethyst measures approximately the same. The shoulders are engraved but most of the details have been lost to time.

Made of solid 10k yellow gold, the ring size is 5.75 US. It can be sized.

The ring is in good condition, it has some wear to the metal and a bit to the edges of the stone table which is not visible to the naked eye. This is consistent with age and regular use.

This beautiful antique ring is unmarked and was carefully tested.

Our model's hand is approximately 5" wide or 12 cm as seen in this image:

We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement. If at any time you would like the actual length and is not in the description, please feel free to contact us.
