Our Grading Standards for Vintage Magazines and Books are as follows:
Excellent – Top grade, well preserved, nice copy, as close to new as possible. All pages are present, no cutouts. Nice clean covers, strong binding.Yellowing sometimes occurs and it is normal to age. Any noticeable issues (minor stains, tears, etc) will be noted.
Very Good – Magazine or book is complete and clean. Minor wear to cover and spine. Any major condition issues will be mentioned.
Good – Magazine is complete but cover maybe stained, pages folded or with tears. The cover may be loose or partially loose but binding is tight. Any other major issues will be mentioned.
Fair – Possibly a prior Library copy, well read, loose cover and pages, cut-outs, missing pages. The magazine might have been poorly stored. Maybe incomplete.
