Gorgeous and delicate 14k Yellow Gold Modernist style ring adorned with 6 round cabochon Opals and 3 diamonds.
Made in solid 14k Gold, the Opals have beautiful colors ranging from almost Indigo Blue to slightly Red. Diamonds are eye clean and sparkly.
Delicate but not insignificant the setting is sinuous, resembling the letter S.
Overall setting measurements are 11/16" North South by slightly over 1/8" wide.
Each Opal is approximately 3mm in diameter measured in the setting.
The Diamonds (three) at the center are estimated to be approximately 1.2mm in diameter each.
Overall approximate weight for the ring is 2.12 gram.
Ring size is 6.5 US.
Marked on the inside of the shank 14k plus the maker's symbol which unfortunately has faded with time and is not legible. Carefully tested to verify content.
In excellent pre-owned condition, estimated to date from the 1970's.
