Gorgeous antique Victorian 14k Yellow Gold urn earrings with hinged lids. These date from the Archaeological Revival Period. They are likely 15k.
Earrings are hand made with Taille d'Epargne or tracery enamel accents.
Chased pattern areas and milgrain finish to the gold on the urns bodies and lids.
Overall length including the detailed posts is approximately 1 1/2" long.
Each urn is fully dimensional and measures 5/8" wide at the handles.
Approximate total weight is 11 grams for the pair.
Unmarked, carefully tested to verify content. Estimated to date from the Victorian Period ca 1860's.
Earrings are in excellent condition with no damage. Very minor loss of enamel barely visible with the naked eye.
