This beautiful vintage Girard-Perregaux ladies wrist watch is made of solid 14k white gold. The unusual angled tonneau case has extended lugs, each set with a fiery diamond.
The movement is mechanical, needs to be manually wound. It is marked Girard-Perregaux & Co, 17 Seventeen Jewels (it includes 17 rubies), GXM, Swiss, Unadjusted, and the number 523101.
The expanding band is gold filled and fits wrists up to 7.25". It is meant to be worn close to the wrist.
The case is marked 14k Ross on the outside near the lug. It is also marked inside the case cover 14k, G/P for Girard-Perregaux and custom made for them by Ross.
Watch runs well and keeps useful time. It is in excellent condition all around with slight signs of wear. Carefully tested, estimated to date from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. Overall approximate weight is 15.6 grams.
