14k White Gold Edwardian Filigree Ring Huge Amethyst Stone

A stunning ring in 14k White Gold with yellow gold accents, set with a large Amethyst. Setting is two tone, the stone faceted and is bezel set. The gold bridges held a strand of tiny pearls, but we left it without for a more modern look.

This Edwardian to Art Deco ring setting measures approximately 15/16" North South by 3/4" East West, reaching 5/16" above the hand at the center of the Amethyst.

The intense purple stone is estimated at 18mm by 14mm, approximately 8 carats.

Ring size is 6, can be sized. Please inquire about sizing services.

Overall approximate weight of 5 grams. Marked 14k, carefully tested. Marked by maker, unknown. Ca 1920's, in good overall condition, there is some wear to the stone consistent with age, not obvious to the naked eye.
