This vintage school ring dates from 1933. Gorgeous Art Deco design with Egyptian Revival influence. The center has a raised letter "S" that passes as the number 5. If "S" is your initial, you're in luck. If not, 5 is a lucky number. You win no matter what.
Some of the finest details of the shield area have been lost to time. The Egyptian Revival influence is evident in the two birds with crossing wings and the overall shape of the shield itself.
The ring is 7/16" North-South and size is 7 US. It weighs approximately 3.8 gram. It is stamped MMB and 10k. In very good overall condition.
