Gorgeous antique bracelet in gilt 800 Silver. It is hand wrought, comprised of Canetille or Filigree square panels that are hinged together, each adorned with a round Sardinia Coral cabochon. There are 6 panels, each measures 1 3/16" or 30mm square. Overall wearable length of the bracelet is 7 3/8" or almost 19cm not including the hidden clasp. It is in very good condition, no cracks or breaks on the fine wire work. Some panels are not as flat but it does not create a problem and it is not obvious when worn. It can be polished further if desired, some of the patina is in place. Most of the gilding is in place. It is actually 2 tone, the dots or curls inside the quatre-foils are silver in color. Very beautiful piece, expertly hand made.
There are two marks on the clasp. One reads 800 for the silver content and the other is not legible. Estimated to date from the 1900's.
This information is intended to help you understand our sizing methods.
Please note many small measurements are in millimeters. It is a Jewelry Industry standard for accuracy.
You can download and print the Ring Sizing Chart. Make sure to follow the directions closely for best accuracy. Most rings can be sized unless otherwise noted. Cost of sizing is not included, please inquire with ring information and size required for an estimate.
Our model's hand is approximately 5" wide or 12 cm as seen in this image:
We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement. If at any time you would like the actual length and is not in the description, please feel free to contact us.
