Exquisitely hand chased belt buckle by Knothe is made in Sterling Silver.
The center is cut out and displays the letter/initial C.
Chasing in sun ray pattern emanates from the center rectangle.
Gorgeous hand done frame pattern.
Buckle measures approximately 1 15/16" long at the center by 1 1/4" at the widest point.
Maximum belt width is 15/16".
Marked Sterling and Knothe on the reverse.
Also marked Kantslip at the articulated point.
It is estimated to date from the 1910's.
In excellent condition, can be polished further if desired.
