Victorian, 1830s to 1900s
Fiery Black Opal doublets add a lot of color to this Antique Victorian Ring. Made in warm Rose Gold, 14k, the setting is adorned with scrolls. It is a beautiful ring, the stones have flashes of Red, Blues, Greens and even Lavender.
Ring is size 8 US or about 18.25mm inside diameter. The setting measured from stone setting to stone setting is 3/4" wide. The center of the setting is 1/4" wide at the center, top to bottom.
Inside of the shank is marked with a crown plus a series of turtle marks which are not legible.Maker's mark reads "A.R." or "A.K." It is also hard to read.
Overall weight is approximately 2 pennyweights or 3 grams. In excellent condition for it's age. Estimated to date from the 1900's.
