Gorgeous Antique Victorian/Edwardian Period Bohemian Garnet ring in 900 Silver. It is almost Sterling, which 925.
Ring setting is fairly large measuring almost 3/4" in diameter overall and rising approximately 5/16" above the hand.
Bohemian Garnet stones show flashes of red in certain light directions.
Setting is composed of a center Garnet which is approximately 1/4" in diameter and framed with a row of smaller round Bohemian cut stones which are prong set. The setting steps down to a second row of smaller round Bohemian Garnet stones. Please note depth of stones may appear uneven when the ring is looked at from the sides with a jeweler's loupe.
Ring size is 8.25 US.
In excellent condition, marked 900 on the inside of the shank.
