Victorian, 1830s to 1900s
This gorgeous North South antique Victorian ring is set with natural Emerald, Ruby and uncut Diamonds. This ring is an authentic Victorian Era ring, not a contemporary reproduction. It is estimated to be over 160 years old.
The elaborate double figure 8 setting is centered by a flower. Metal is hand chased to add sparkle. The Diamonds are uncut indicating this ring was likely made around 1850.
Size is 8US, it can be sized. Setting measures 1 3/8" by 7/16" where it meets the band. Shank or band is 2.5mm wide.
Ring is 9k or 9ct yellow gold, unmarked, tested. Overall approximate weight is 3.3 gram.
In very good condition for it's age (it is over 160 years old), slight wear to the top of one Ruby and some to the Emerald. Neither is visible to the naked eye or distracts from the beauty of the ring.
