This is a beautiful high-quality Swiss made Gubelin Ball watch pendant necklace from the Art Deco Era. The ball watch is clear on both sides and you can see the movement running. This is called a panoramic or skeleton watch.
The dial is marked Gubelin, Swiss. The movement is marked Gubelin, Unadjusted, 17 jewels.
The delicate 30" long 800 silver chain has cultured pearl stations and is original to the necklace. It is fully hallmarked on the tab near the clasp with 800 and the Gubelin stamp.
The ball watch is approximately 13/16" wide and almost 1" tall including the ring on the top and the crown.
In excellent condition, it runs and keeps time well but has not been fully serviced. it dates from the 1930's.
