Art Deco, 1920s to 1930s

Art Deco White Gold Diamonds Driva Watch

Size Guide

This elegant vintage 14k white gold and Diamonds Driva watch hails from the Art Deco Era, circa 1930's. The spare lines of the rectangular case are softened by curved corners and a thick bubble crystal.

The lugs fan out to accommodate the new old stock white gold filled woven chain double sided band.

Case measures 1 1/8" by 9/16" wide, crown not included. The center of the crystal rises 9mm above the wrist. It is set with three old world cut Diamonds, each about 0.03 carats for a total of approximately 0.15 carats.

Crystal is in good to very good condition with only minor nicks around the curvature of the bubble which are barely noticeable.

The dial is ivory color with black Arabic numerals and is in excellent condition with minor patina out of sight. Hands are metallic blue, characteristic of the time.

Movement is manual, needs to be wound. It is Swiss made, 17 Jewels/17J, unadjusted. Marked Driva Watch Co., Swiss, Seventeen 17 Jewels, Unadjusted and YXS.

Inside of the case's lid, you will find the 14k Gold mark, Driva and the numbers 42904.

The band is soft and very comfortable to wear, fits wrists up to 5 3/4", these were designed to wear snug around the wrist.

Overall excellent condition, watch runs and keeps usable time. A real beauty!

Our model's hand is approximately 5" wide or 12 cm as seen in this image:

Our Estate Jewelry measuring guide - model's hand.

We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement. If at any time you would like the actual length and is not in the description, please feel free to contact us.
