One of the largest we have had, this antique Art Nouveau Period slide watch chain would also be a beautiful necklace. While not long enough to fit as a necklace on it's own, you can add a bracelet or another watch chain to increase the length. If you do not have one, ask us and we will do it for you as a custom order.
Chain is 11" from clasp tip to opposite clasp tip and is 11/16" wide.
Oversized slide is 1 1/16" at the widest point by a bit over 1 1/4".
It is in very good overall condition, one jump ring has been replaced by shaped wire. It is silver tone but not Silver.
Estimated to date from around 1900's. Marked "Garantie" on one of the major jump rings, we believe it was made in France.
This information is intended to help you understand our sizing methods.
Please note many small measurements are in millimeters. It is a Jewelry Industry standard for accuracy.
You can download and print the Ring Sizing Chart. Make sure to follow the directions closely for best accuracy. Most rings can be sized unless otherwise noted. Cost of sizing is not included, please inquire with ring information and size required for an estimate.
Our model's hand is approximately 5" wide or 12 cm as seen in this image:
We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement. If at any time you would like the actual length and is not in the description, please feel free to contact us.
