Very nice vintage Austro Hungarian brooch adorned with faux pearl, emeralds and rubies. Fairly large, measures almost 2 1/4" by 1 5/8" overall.
In good condition, the applied flower petals is Copper. The right end is slightly different from the left side but it appears to be by design or from manufacturing. The open work base seen on the back is delicately engraved.
Closes with a trombone clasp, estimated to date from the 1910's. Overall weight is 21 grams. Marked "Made in Hungary" on the reverse.
