Edwardian, 1901 to 1920s
Beautiful dainty Edwardian filigree lavalier necklace in Rhodium over Sterling Silver. Pendant is set with a faux Citrine, setting is framed in pierced pattern, framed by a gold outline and engraved outer frame.
Pendant measures 1 3/8" long including the center piece by almost 11/16" at the widest point. The lovely faux Citrine is crystal, very nicely faceted, the color has a hint of taupe.
A delicate fancy long and short link chain completes the necklace. The antique pinch type clasp is embossed with a flower and stamped "Sterling" and the maker's mark. Maker is H in between two triangles, which has not been identified. Necklace overall length is 18.5".
Condition is excellent, the bright silver Rhodium plating gives it a Platinum look. There is no loss of enamel, no wear to the stone, it is in magnificent condition, looking barely worn and well kept.
