Victorian, 1830s to 1900s
Made in Victorian time, this antique signet initial ring is over 120 years old. This gorgeous ring is a great pretender. Made of Gold Filled, it is marked 18k inside the shank. Sad as this is the quality of manufacturing is exquisite. It is very well made and quite elaborate too.
Ring setting measures almost 7/8" by 5/8" wide. Adorned frame for the rectangular Black Onyx flat cabochon where the initial is. Perhaps a letter C, it is hard to tell.
The shank is also beautifully made with flourishes at each side of the setting.
Ring size is 10.5 US.
Condition is excellent for it's age and the fact that is not solid gold. There is very little wear for a gold filled ring this old. No damage to the stone.
This information is intended to help you understand our sizing methods.
Please note many small measurements are in millimeters. It is a Jewelry Industry standard for accuracy.
You can download and print the Ring Sizing Chart. Make sure to follow the directions closely for best accuracy. Most rings can be sized unless otherwise noted. Cost of sizing is not included, please inquire with ring information and size required for an estimate.
Our model's hand is approximately 5" wide or 12 cm as seen in this image:
We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement. If at any time you would like the actual length and is not in the description, please feel free to contact us.
