Designed as an oval, this vintage Victorian inspired brooch is set with a single row of naturally beautiful Bohemian Garnets. Stone color ranges in many berry shades, including red.
It measures 7/8" by 1 1/8" long.
Versatile style, use it to hold a scarf (you can pass one end through it if the scarf is light weight), as a necklace clasp when there isn't one and even to hold eyeglasses (provided they are not wide at the temples.
Metal tests as Sterling Silver or close with a rich gold wash. No marks. In excellent condition, estimated to date from the 1930's based on construction.

We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length.
