You will love how the surface of this antique Victorian bangle shimmers in the light. The satin finish gold filled surface is smooth to the touch and offset by the intricate hand carved detail of flowers and scrolls. When you look at the center of the bangle you will notice the perfectly mirrored carving. This metalwork technique is called chasing. Mind you, this is all done by hand using tiny tools.
This chased bracelet has a hinge and closes with a spring triggered clasp. You press the tiny button to open. Works well.
The bracelet is 3/8" wide and has 3/16" thick walls.
The bangle interior measurements are 2 1/8" front to back, 2 3/8" side to side.
It fits wrists up to 7 1/4" when closed.
Marked GLP Co 1/10 for twice the common content of gold in the gold filled. It weighs approximately 18 grams.
It is in excellent condition with minor wear consistent with age. A light straight indentation on the back is difficult to see, you have to look for it. No major damage or loss of gold.
