Gorgeous jewel tone colored enamel pendant.
Made in Gilt Silver.
Lac (wax) enamel is an ancient enameling technique.
It has the textured background of Guilloche enamel and the lines of Cloisonne.
The background here is textured by hand, Guilloche is generally machine turned.
This pendant was made in India sometime in the 1970's.
The chain is newer.
Overall pendant measurements are approximately 1 7/8" by 1 3/4".
Chain is 18" long.
In excellent condition.
Unmarked, carefully tested.
