Art Deco, 1920s to 1930s
This gorgeous watch is in excellent condition. Even the grosgrain band looks like new. Runs and keeps usable time, mechanical watch movement, needs winding, 15 Jewels and 3 adjustments.
Case is engraved on the bezel and sides, bright 14k white gold fill (rolled gold). Dial is gorgeous too, very clean, hand engraved center with concentric grooves where the numerals are. Hour markers are black and clear, angled Arabic numbers with sunken seconds dial. Very nice quality. It measures 1 3/6" from wire lug to wire lug and is 1" in diameter not including the crown. White gold fill case is Rhodium plated, has a platinum look. It is in beautiful condition save small scratches on the back from regular use. Crown is probably replaced.
Ribbon watch band is adjustable by clasping one end to the slide. Clasp is 14k White Gold filled and although not an exact match to the watch case, it is a perfect match to the dial.
Tavannes has been in business since 1891. Watch is very good to excellent condition, runs and keeps usable time. It is about 100 years old, has been maintained but not overhauled and we do not guarantee it will continue to work.
This information is intended to help you understand our sizing methods.
Please note many small measurements are in millimeters. It is a Jewelry Industry standard for accuracy.

Our model's hand is approximately 5" wide or 12 cm as seen in this image:
We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement. If at any time you would like the actual length and is not in the description, please feel free to contact us.
