This exquisitely carved and hand engraved heavy men's signet ring hails from the Victorian Era. The octagonal face is hand engraved with the initials JD. The shoulders are deeply carved with a stylized flower and abstract designs, the pattern extends to cover more than half of the ring's band. Likely European made, it is marked 585 for 14k gold content.
The ring face is 13.5mm North-South by 14mm East-West, approximately.
