Vintage hand made Mayan Calendar Sterling necklace composed of a large round pendant and and a relatively heavy Sterling Silver chain. Pendant is also a brooch, it can be removed from the chain by unhooking the built in clip bail. Measures 2 3/16" in diameter.

The beautiful continuous curb chain has no clasp, meant to slip over the head. It stands on it's own or worn with another pendant. Chain measures 1/8" wide and 1/16" deep with total length of 24".

Pendant is marked Mexico DF for Mexico City, Sterling, 925. There is a 3 letter mark for the maker which is not legible. Overall approximate weight is 46.6 grams.

In excellent condition, hand polished with beautiful patina that enhances the many details on both pendant and chain. Estimated to date form the 1960's, can be worn by men or women.
