Movement reads Elgin USA and serial number 31905773. It dates from the late 1920's to the early 1930's. I believe this one is from 1929.

The House of Premet was a well known and highly regarded Parisian fashion house. It was opened in 1911 and closed in 1931. Madame Premet was the original Fashion Designer for this Couture line. The watch is named after her. Some sources mention it was designed by her but I was unable to verify this information.

Our model's hand is approximately 5" wide or 12 cm as seen in this image:

Our Estate Jewelry measuring guide - model's hand.

We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement. If at any time you would like the actual length and is not in the description, please feel free to contact us.
