Vintage 1940's Susanne's Fashion Show miniature sewing or dress mannequin in original box with patterns and papers.
Mannequin was designed for pre-teens to learn how to sew. It is really adorable and has a great Retro 1940's look.
Made by Latexture of Latex, no longer suitable as a child's toy but wonderful for display.
She stands 11 1/2" tall not including the base.
There are some issues due to the Latex ageing and drying out. It is not supple, it has some shrinkage on at the shoulder joints, particularly the right hand side, arms do not come off. There are two hairlines, not separating. Only one shoe/foot attaches to the base which has been modified a long time ago.
Some patterns appear complete while two may not be.
The head is set with a tiny pin to hold a hat or other adornment.
Box shows age.
Some home made clothing is included and quite charming.
It is a great accent piece for any decor and honestly I did seriously consider keeping it for my own mannequin collection!
This information is intended to help you understand our sizing methods.
Please note many small measurements are in millimeters. It is a Jewelry Industry standard for accuracy.
You can download and print the Ring Sizing Chart. Make sure to follow the directions closely for best accuracy. Most rings can be sized unless otherwise noted. Cost of sizing is not included, please inquire with ring information and size required for an estimate.
Our model's hand is approximately 5" wide or 12 cm as seen in this image:
We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement. If at any time you would like the actual length and is not in the description, please feel free to contact us.
