Vintage traditional Penca de Balangandan brooch with several Brazilian Charms and a carved wood Figa.

  • Silver tone metal, probably white Brass which is commonly used. 
  • The birds on the holder represent Brazil and Africa.
  • It opens by turning the screw closure.
  • There are 8 different charms.
  • Included are a hand carved wood figa fist, several tropical fruit and housewares.
  • Overall measurements are 3" by 2 5/8".
  • Excellent condition, unmarked, tested.
  • Dates from the 1950's.
