Gorgeous antique Victorian round locket in 1/4 Gold.
The cover is lightly etched leaving a whirlygig type design in highly polished surface.
Condition is excellent, even the original photo covers are present.
Marked "H 1/4 G" on the inside of the cover.
The 1/4 mark indicates a much greater gold content than gold filled, which is 1/20.
Gold color has a beautiful richness, looks just like solid gold.
Overall diameter not including the rings is 1 1/8".
Room for 2 photos, each with it's own bezel.
Dates from the 1900's.
Approximate total weight 9 gram.
