Gorgeous antique Victorian hair locket with applied Silver leaves and Coral accents.

The front of the locket also has Repousse areas.

The back cover is finely hand chased.

Overall measurements are approximately 1/16" tall including the large bail by 1 3/16" wide and 1/2" thick at the center including the Coral bead.

Once open two compartments are revealed.

One is shallow for a picture, the other is the entire body of the locket.

It will accommodate two photos as well.

Original deep red lining in place.

Glass and bezels or frames are original and present.

Unmarked, carefully tested to verify content.

Estimated to date from the 1870's.

In excellent condition for it's age, some small dimples on the front.
