Gorgeous antique Victorian Period Gold Filled mesh and buckle pocket watch fob chain. In Victorian times, these would be clipped to the vest pocket and a pocket watch or locket would be attached to the clip at the end of the short chain. Really gorgeous piece of men's jewelry.
Overall measurements are top to bottom including clip, 4 1/2" long; mesh width is 1" approximately, buckle is 1 1/4" at the widest point.
It is in excellent condition, the clips all work. There is no damage to the repousse buckle or repousse area on the top clip. The only mark is a pair of hand stamped stars on the back of the top clip, which have not been identified.
