Stunning rendition of the coveted Lion Bracelet from Victorian times. This beauty is hand wrought, repoussed and chased Sterling Silver, then given a gold wash (plating). This beautiful Vermeil bangle depicts a fierce lion with genuine Garnet eyes, holding a large round brilliant cut white Topaz stone in it's mouth. Incredibly detailed carving with modern almost geometric lines. Detailed mane and front legs.
Bracelet measures 1 3/16" at the widest point, the lion where is also deepest at 1/2". It tapers gently to the back where it measures 1/2" wide. Bangle inside measurements are 2 3/4" side to side by 2 1/4" front to back. Fits wrists up to 7 3/4" . Weighs approximately 48 grams. It is substantial.
Hidden built in clasp and hinged. In very good condition with light signs of wear, no loss of plating, no serious dents (it's hollow ware). There are no marks, likely custom work. Carefully tested.

We measure bracelets based on their wearable length, not the actual length. We do this because chunky bracelets will have a smaller wearable length than the actual length as the thickness of the bracelet reduces the internal measurement.
