Victorian, 1830s to 1900s
Lovely and so well made, this long watch chain necklace hails from the Victorian Era and has a free form slide adorned with raised patterns and set with a Garnet and a Seed Pearl.
Back of the slide has a lovely hand engraved pattern which includes a flower and a finely detailed bar.
The heavy flat oval link chain is gold filled and measures 44" long not including the latch for your pendant or locket. This latch can also be used as a clasp, simply fold the necklace in half and clasp the center of the chain to the latch as seen on the last photo.
In excellent condition, beautiful slight rose gold color, ca 1890's. Both watch chain necklace and slide are rose-y Gold Filled.
