Gorgeous 1940,s Retro 10k Gold (Yellow and Rose) and Ruby ring. The circular setting that holds the largest stone is rose gold, the balance of the ring is yellow gold. It’s a beautiful Retro design which dates the ring to the early 1940,s. Unusual architectural design, beautiful example of fine jewelry of the Period.
Setting measures approximately 9/16″ or 15 mm tall by 5/8″ or 17 mm wide. The largest Ruby is 3/16″ in diameter or 5 mm approximately, measured in the setting. Each of the smaller Ruby stones is 3/32″ or 3 mm approximately in diameter.
Ring size is 6.25 US or 16.75 mm inside shank diameter. Overall weight is approximately 4.5 grams or 3 pennyweights. Ring is in excellent pre-owned condition. Rubies are lab created as many of the rubies used at the time were.
Marked 10k on the inside of the shank with a marker’s mark contained within a diamond shape stamp. Unfortunately the maker’s mark is not legible. Carefully tested to verify content.
