A dated 1957 Alpha Society honor key from Franklin College, designed as a hexagonal watch fob or pendant. Its stippled face displays a large Alpha beneath a lamp of knowledge, with one hand passing a lighted torch to another below. A patterned border frames the raised imagery.
The reverse features an open book with radiating rays, the motto Nulli Nisi Optimi, and the inscription Franklin College 1957. Alpha Society recognizes academic achievement at Franklin College. This symbolic key can be worn on a chain or attached to a watch chain.
