Description
This is a beautiful alternating carved pattern bar link pocket watch chain from the late Edwardian Era. It measures 13 7/8 of an inch long. It is a delicate but hefty pocket watch chain.
The bar links alternate between a two-tone white and yellow gold chevron pattern and a yellow gold filled open work chevron. It is a very interesting pattern you don’t see often.
Each link is approximately 14mm long by 2.5mm wide and 2mm deep. They are connected by three plain oval links.
The chain features a spring ring clasp on one end and a swivel clip on the other.
The flat link next to the swivel clap is marked for the maker. Unfortunately, only “Mfg Co” and 1/20 12k GF is legible. There are no other marks.
The metal was carefully tested. The overall approximate weight is 11 grams. It has a nice weight and drapes beautifully.
The condition overall is excellent. The clasps work well, and there is very little to no loss of gold.
