Description

A circa 1990s sterling silver brooch featuring a large cognac amber cabochon framed by three sculpted calla lilies. Long, curving stems form an open rectangular surround, giving the design the flowing botanical lines associated with Art Nouveau.

The elongated oval amber has a warmly glowing color and reflective internal features that catch the light. Darkened recesses accent the silver flowers against their polished edges. Signed RG and stamped 925; the maker remains unidentified. The pin closes securely with a safety catch.
