This fancy Edwardian locket has a graceful shield-shaped form with scalloped edges and a softly architectural outline. The front cover is machine turned and hand engraved with delicate floral detail, framed by fine concentric linework that catches the light beautifully.
The back cover has a fine pinstripe texture, giving the reverse a subtle shimmer and making the locket lovely from both sides. Inside, the locket can hold two photos. An antique photo is currently in place and can be easily replaced if desired.
The locket is not marked. The oval link chain is marked 1/20 12K GF for gold filled. Together, the locket and chain have a delicate but wearable antique presence.
