Antique Edwardian Solid 10k Gold Moonstone Bracelet
Absolutely stunning antique solid gold and moonstone bracelet from the Edwardian era, ca 1910. The gem moonstones are of excellent quality – clear, eye clean, with outstanding blue flash adularescence. The 11 moonstones are cabochon cut and graduated in size, ranging from 7mm by 5mm at the ends and gently increasing in size up to approximately 10mm by 8mm for the largest one at the center.
The bracelet is 6″ long. Please contact us if you need a larger size, we might be able to add a custom extender for you.
The gold has a slight pink hue, not enough to call it rose gold but rosier than contemporary yellow gold.
It is in very good condition. The original clasp had an additional safety catch that has been lost to time and was replaced with a chain and spring-ring clasp. There is a mark on the insert for the clasp, it is a large capital A and a small capital s underneath it, both inside a triangle. It weighs approximately 7.2 grams. There isn’t a gold mark, it was gently tested, it is solid 9k gold.
