An exceptional early R. F. Simmons & Co. gold-filled Albert watch chain, dating to approximately 1890–1905, late Victorian Era. Substantial individually soldered curb links graduate beautifully toward the center, accompanied by a T-bar and secure dog clip.
A small George B. Soley medalette is suspended from the fob drop. It depicts the Philadelphia Mint building dated 1832, with the Lord’s Prayer in minute lettering on the reverse. Soley produced these souvenirs after acquiring the Mint’s first steam-powered coinage press in 1875. The medalette was found attached to the chain; its original association cannot be confirmed.

Excellent antique condition with light wear consistent with age. The chain is structurally sound, and all findings function securely. The Soley medalette shows greater surface wear; the Mint building remains visible, but the center of the Lord’s Prayer is no longer legible.
