A substantial sterling silver cigar band ring set with three faceted blue flash moonstones and detailed reticulated silverwork.
This late 1990s ring has a bold handcrafted presence, with a wide tapering band, individually fused raised dot texture, and scrolling patterned borders. The center stone is a round faceted moonstone, flanked by two horizontal pear shaped moonstones, each bezel set into the decorated silverwork. The moonstones show beautiful blue flash, adding a luminous contrast to the oxidized sterling details.
The ring is marked India and 925. It does not have an obvious maker’s mark. The interior of the shank has a cutout detail resembling a crown or stylized W, adding to the unusual construction.
