A great vintage indian head buffalo nickel squash blossom necklace! Entirely made by hand, including the sterling silver round beads makes it rarer than most. Most coin squash blossom necklaces have machine made beads.
The naja (crescent pendant) is sand cast and stamped with sun rays and cross arrows. Two beautiful oval turquoise cabochons are set within a serrated bezel.
The necklace is 27″ long. The crescent pendant drops 2.75″ from the necklace and is 1.75″ at the widest point.
It is in very good condition with the original patina we all love. There is a small repair where the chain meets the clasp on one side. It is secure.
The maker’s mark is “MMOE” hand inscribed in the back, so far not identified. Total approximate weight is 180 grams.
