Vintage Pair Of Chinese Export Enameled Earrings Jade Pink Tourmaline TLC – For Repair, Restoration
The beautiful enameled drops are two-sided hollow beads, etched metal designs with turquoise enameled fields, and small areas of lapis lazuli blue and amethyst purple colored enamel.
Each drop measures 1 1/8 inch (29mm) wide, 15/16 inch (23mm) tall and 5/16 inch (9mm) thick.
It originally had 5 little beads (jade and pink tourmaline) hanging from each earring. Some are missing.
The posts have dome-shaped round tops that are 3/8 inch (10mm) in diameter. It was converted from screwback to pierced. This was done well and a long time ago. The butterfly backs are screw-type and not pressure like the modern ones.
The metal is silver but we do not know the fineness. There is a patina on the metal but no decay.
The enamel is intact, with no chips, cracks, or loss. The bright blue is to imitate kingfisher feathers.

- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
