Description
This stunning, heavy, antique Victorian gold-filled pocket watch chain includes a 10k gold Elks fob and hand-engraved ends. The chain is composed of curb links connected by textured curb links. It is 8.5mm wide and 6.5mm deep.
The length is 13.75″, measuring from the dog clip to the point where the fob is attached. The T bar extension is 1.5″ long and composed of oval links. You can add another pocket watch chain to complete a necklace or double wrap it around the wrist for a unique bracelet.
The fob is adorned with an elk and the initials LOOM in white gold. There is some loss of detail due to the age (about 100 years old or so) and regular wear.
The dog clip is fully functional. Due to age and regular wear, there is a light loss of finish to the chain in some areas, not obvious to the naked eye, and slight indentations on the chain’s ends. None distract from its beauty.
The chain is gold-filled and unmarked. The fob is stamped 10k. Both were carefully tested. The overall approximate weight is 53 grams.
