Antique Victorian Crescent Moon Comet Bohemian Garnet Brooch Pin
A rare antique Victorian Bohemian garnet brooch in the shape of a crescent moon, comet, and stars. The comet is created by a row of 6 pear cuts garnets surrounding the round center. At first, it looks like a flowering branch but once you realize it is the crescent moon, the whole design changes. Unlike most Bohemian garnets, these are not rose-cut. The stones are custom cut and bead set to create the design. It is a beautiful pin.
The overall condition is very good. There is a reinforcement on the back that was professionally done and can’t be seen from the front. The safety catch is a replacement made decades ago.
It measures 1 13/16″ or 46mm across. It is unmarked and made of gilt silver.

- Returns are gladly accepted for store credit when you notify us within 7 days of order delivery. Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered.
- Electronic store credits are issued to your account with PreAdored® and do not expire. Shipping charges are not credited. There are no refunds.
- Items which were discounted by any means or altered (as in the case of sized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned.
- If there is loss or damage in transit please let us know right away so we can assist with the insurance claim. The insurance coverage ends 7 days after delivery, so please don’t wait.
- If you need to return an item, please visit our self-service Returns Center for the RMA number. Returns sent without an RMA Number will be refused. We will respond quickly with instructions.
- We regret that we cannot cancel orders that have been shipped. Unshipped orders will incur a 15% restocking fee.
