Description
This beautiful antique necklace features a Bohemian garnet studded Victorian moon and star pendant that was once a brooch. The brooch pin has been repurposed as the swivel bail. It looks gorgeous on.
The pendant measures almost 1 1/16″ wide and it drops 1 5/16″ from the chain.
The gold filled chain is gorgeous. It is so pretty you could wear it alone. It is a substantial s link measuring 2MM wide by 1.8MM deep and 16″ long. The early spring ring clasp is engraved with pin stripes and abstract geometric shapes. It does not have the little tab, it has a raised ring for opening. This is by design.
The pendant is gold over silver, plating is rich and has a very slight rose gold tone.
The necklace is in excellent condition, estimated to date from the 1900s for the pendant and 1920s for the chain.
